| 2003 was the most spectacular Rally Supercar Day to date.
Stig Blomqvist, Alister McRae, Gwyndaf Evans, Tony Mason, Kris Meeke and Precision Driving
Expert Russ Swift were the main guest lineup. Other rally celebs who could be spotted in the paddock included John Taylor and Tony Fall, both who could be seen driving on the Feature Rally Stage in classic rally cars. As well as driving one of his original Lotus Sunbeams with it's current owner in the passenger seat, Stig Blomqvist performed a couple of demonstration runs in the awsome 840bhp RS200e Pikes Peak Car which he is attempting to break the world record in. Gwyndaf Evans opened up the feature rally stage in the distinctive MG ZR and had an interview with Tony Mason and signed autographs for his fans. Alister McRae literally flew in and put on a spectacular display for the 7000 strong crowd in the Mitsubishi Lancer World Rally Car. His return to the event after his excellent display in 2002 was clearly very welcome.
A revised paddock layout for 2003 improved the accommodation of car clubs and traders. Track sesisons were very active all day and many people took advantage of the chance to have a ride in the White Knuckle Ride Cars run by the GwynneSPEED rally school and MG Xtreme Rally.
Most impressive car club display at the event was no doubt the Quattro Owners Club with no less than 55 quattro turbo's parked together and as well as the Stratos Club, they also took to the track for the club parade.
