Latvala to drive ‘Monster’ Focus RS WRC at Rallyday
BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team driver Jari-Matti Latvala will pilot Ken Block’s Monster World Rally Team Ford Focus RS WRC at this year’s tenth anniversary Show, at Wiltshire’s Castle Combe Circuit on Saturday 18th September.

“The opportunity to drive the Ford Focus RS WRC on asphalt at Castle Combe is something I am looking forward to away from the pressures of competition. I hope I can put on a really good show for the fans with lots of sideways action and I’m sure the event will be as big a success as it has been in previous years,” commented Latvala.




Stig Blomqvist (the original Stig!) is coming to Rallyday 2010
Its now 30 years since Audi quattros took Rallying by storm. To celebrate this in style a comprehensive line-up of original works Audi quattro rallycars will be displayed in the centre of the paddock on a special "Audi quattro 30 Years". The amazing lineup will cover their evolution through the 80’s and incude the 1st Audi quattro ever rallied which competed in the 1980 Algarve Rallye. 1984 World Rally Champion Stig Blomqvist will be along to show what these cars are capable of and will no doubt bring back some nostalgic memories of this incredible era of rallying. The cars will take part in a special parade on the circuit and selected vehicles will run on the Feature Rally Stage including the lightweight quattro A2 which made a great impact at Rallday 2001 - the first Rallyday we did. Stig will be interviewed by Tony Mason and signing signing posters on the stand - visit the stand for timings.

Skoda UK confirm Guy Wilks & Fabia S2000
We are pleased to confirm attendance of the Skoda team to the event for the first time. 2 times British Rally Championship winner Guy Wilks will drive the latest Skoda S2000 rallycar in front of an estimated 10,000 rally enthusiasts at the show. Visitors will get the chance to see this incredible car in action on the Feature Rally Stage and up close on an extensive Skoda display area in the main paddock.

Andrew Heat for Hire
One of the main attractions at this years show will be an extensive display of 10 original Andrews Heat for Hire Rally Cars. Former British Rally Champion Russell Brookes, Mike Broad and many of the original team members will be reunited at the show to celebrate this very successful rallying campaign of the 70's and 80's.

Richard Burns Foundation Display
6 Original works cars from the Richard Burns Collection will be on display at the event. The cars span all era’s of Richards rallying career and are a sight to behold. The cars will also be driven by many of Richards close associates in a very special parade around the circuit. There will be information on the stand for anyone wishing to find out more about the foundation and supporting the charity.

Just Confirmed - Tom Cave in the Proton S2000
Fans of the exciting new Super 2000 series rallycars will get the chance to see the Mellors Elliott Motorsport (MEM) designed Proton S2000 car in action at the event with Brit rising star Tom Cave behind the wheel.


McRae Vision Display
McRae fans will have chance to see Colin's original Sierra Cosworth and R4 rally cars on a large McRae Vision Stand. There will be opportunity to participate in the latest Colin McRae Dirt game and buy a range of McRae merchandise with proceeds benefitting the McRae Vision Charity.

Amazing Astra 4S
Well there is rare and there is the Astra 4s. Developed through the latter stages of the Group B was Vauxhalls Group 'S' Astra 4S 4 Wheel drive rallying supercar. Unfortuately the group S category did not progress but thankfully this unique car, normally kept at the museum, is coming to Rallyday for rallying enthuisiasts to take a look at. Check out the car on the extensive Andrews Heat for Hire stand in the main paddock.



Motors TV - 1Hr Programme

The Rallyday 10th Anniversary show will be covered by a full 1hr TV programme on Motors TV this year. Check out the preview.

Russ Swift Precision Driving
Russ Swift will be along to entertain the crowds with his spectacular precision driving display. Russ is a Rallyday regular and always draws a huge crowd with his mixture of tyre smoke, extreme parallel parking and donuts.

Rallycross
There will be a special Rallycross demonstration at the event where spectators will be able to watch 500+bhp Rallycross supercars in action together on a specially designed route. In addition to the Rallycross supercars there will also be competitors taking part from the very competitive one make Suzuki Swift class and the RX 150 buggies.

Strictly Sideways Competition
The "Strictly Sideways" competition showcases rally teams demonstrating their drifting and car control in front of a panel of celebrity judges on a specially-designed route with excellent spectator viewpoints. The panel of judges will mark the teams for flamboyance, car control and pure entertainment value. There will be class winners for Rear-Wheel Drive,Four-Wheel Drive and Front-Wheel Drive!
